Letting Procedure
If you decide you like the property then you will need to speak to the office and pay a reservation/administration fee.
Deposit
A security deposit of one month's rent plus £100 must be paid, and will be kept in the manner prescribed by a government approved tenant deposit scheme throughout the tenancy term. This will be returned in full subject to a satisfactory check out inspection.
References
We require references from your employer (or university) and a previous or current landlord. We may also require a bank reference and sometimes a guarantor. In addition a credit check will be carried out.
Moving In
Once we have satisfactory references in place, we will arrange an appointment for you to come to our office to sign your lease documents, complete a standing order mandate for future rental payments and pick up your keys.
Rent
Rents are quoted calendar monthly, and are payable monthly in advance. The tenant is also responsible for council tax, gas, electricity and telephone costs.
Moving Out
If you wish to leave at the end of the fixed term (usually between 6 and 12 months), you must tell us in writing atleast one month before the last day of the term, shown on the tenancy agreement.
